Pressure ulcer of the heel

Presentation
A 73-year-old female patient, confined to bed, presented with a post-operative pressure wound on the heel.
Treatment
The patient received 14 days of conventional wound management and was then treated with TenderWet.

Assessment
After 16 days of treatment the wound was free of infection with well-developed granulation tissue.
After 43 days of treatment the wound was completely healed.
